Welcome to the
International Christian School Stuttgart
The administration of ICSS would like to introduce our two new teachers. We feel very blessed and fortunate to have won these two incredible women for our school. They are both dedicated Christians who want to serve the family through quality Christian education.
| | We have been fortunate to hire
Susanne Woessner for the Kindergarten/Grade 1 teaching position.
Susanne is German, bilingual (English/German), and comes with many years
experience in English early education. She has been associated with "Youth
With A Mission" and in particular helped to develop Christian
early-education materials for use in Cyprus pre-schools. She is
returning from 4 years of work in Lebanon/Switzerland. Due to her varied
experience and language skills, she is a definite asset for our international
school! She has also just finished her Master's degree in "Teaching
languages to young learners".

Amanda comes to us with a background in
teaching early elementary grades in the United States . She has her teaching
certification from the state of North
Carolina and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BS in
Early Childhood Education. She plans to stay in the Stuttgart area for a while because her husband is here with the military for four years. She is pursuing a Master of Science in Early Childhood Education with an emphasis in Reading and Literacy. In her "Philosophy of Education" she states that her "classroom must be a safehaven for students at all times, a place where they can succeed and a place that allows them to fail without feeling like a failure - and to learn from these events. She will be teaching the pre-school. |
![]() | Our Principal: Eileen Wimpenny, M.Ed. Eileen comes to us with a Master's degree in Education (Guidance and Counseling), as well as a Bachelor's degree in Education (Chemistry) and many years of teaching experience. She is also an active participant in the life of IBC. She has been a member of the ICSS Association since its founding and has been a valuable companion to us all during the first two years of ICSS. This is a full time position which will commence this August. Eileen has a solid vision of the future for ICSS, and we wish to welcome her as the leader of our school and staff. |
