The administration of ICSS would like to introduce our teachers. We feel very blessed and fortunate to have won these incredible women for our school. They are all dedicated Christians who want to serve the family through quality Christian education.

Mrs Fuselier came to ICSS in August 2009 with a BS degree in Education from Fayettville State University. She had seven years of grade school experience in the USA and is entering her third year at ICSS. She iscommitted to supporting each child to reach his/her potential as an individual, academically, socially, and spiritually.

Mrs Denise Stanley, our current K4 teacher,  joined ICSS with more than 20 years of experience in all aspects of Early Childhood Education in 2010.  She has worked not only as a preschool teacher but also as a director, a training and curriculum specialist, a substitute teacher, and a subject matter expert for a national early childhood organization.  She believes that children learn through play and that learning is a process which builds on previous knowledge.  Her classroom will have many opportunities for children to make choices and participate in hands on activities.  Ms. Stanley has been living in Stuttgart for over a year and is well integrated in the life of the Stuttgart US military community.  She is looking forward to welcoming her class to ICSS.

We are fortunate to have Susanne Woessner for the Kindergarten/Grade 1 teaching position. Susanne is German, bilingual (English/German), and comes with many years experience in English language early education. She has been associated with "Youth With A Mission" and in particular helped to develop Christian early-education materials for use in Cyprus pre-schools. Before she joined ICSS in 2010, she spent 4 years working in Lebanon/Switzerland. Due to her varied experience and language skills, she is a definite asset for our international school! She has also finished her Master's degree in "Teaching languages to young learners".

We are thrilled to introduce our new teacher for the 3-year-old pre-school class. Originally from Texas, Patti Mestan is a military spouse and has a BS degree in elementary education and speech therapy.  She holds a Virginia Teaching Certificate and has worked as a speech therapist in the pre-school and elementary school setting; a preschool teacher; and as a fifth grade elementary school teacher.   Patti has worked in both private Christian and Department of Defense schools.  Creating a positive atmosphere conducive to learning and understanding each child’s learning style is her goal as she helps students reach their individual potential and make learning a fun experience.   She feels it a blessing to work alongside other Christians, teaching children, and sharing God’s word.

Mrs. Winkler joined us in 2010 as an assistant and has added Performing Arts and German to her duties in 2011. She received a BA degree in education from the University of Redlands in California, and a teaching credential from a training college in Stuttgart, Germany. She has taught English, German and Drama in private and public schools here, and has directed and acted in both church and private venues. She attends IBC regularly with her German husband. She feels she has a responsibility to guide each child in developing toward the unique purpose God has for him or her, and feels humbled and blessed to be able to impart Christ’s love to the precious children here at ICSS.

Our Principal: Eileen Wimpenny, M.Ed.

Eileen comes to us with a Master's degree in Education (Guidance and Counseling), as well as a Bachelor's degree in Education (Chemistry) and has been teaching since 1976.  She is also an active participant in the life of IBC.  She has been a member of the ICSS Association since its founding and has been a valuable companion to us all during the first years of ICSS.  This is a full time position which commenced in August 2010. Eileen has a solid vision of the future for ICSS, and we wish to welcome her as the leader of our school and staff.
